FEATURES

To prevent front-line fighter technology from falling into the wrong hands, the U.S. Department of Defense launched a project in the late 1970s that would produce less advanced aircraft for sale to our allies.

Approximately $1.2 billion was spent by Northrop developing the F-20. But when policy changes during the Reagan administration left it competing directly for sales with the superior F-16, the project was abandoned. Just three prototypes had been built — and only one survives.

Still, the F-20's speed and aggressive lines captured the hearts of military aircraft enthusiasts — and of like-minded R/C modelers, who'll find plenty of both available in this ElectriFly EDF.

The AeroCell Advantage

AeroCell may be the finest material ever created for electric aircraft! This closed-cell foam delivers the benefits of costly composite construction in a more pilot-friendly, easy building form. AeroCell offers the structural strength and rigidity of traditional structures without building...the weight advantages of foam without the brittleness and breakage...and a paintable surface that comes out of the box factory-finished.

Assembly of the F-20 Tigershark can be completed in as little as 4 to 6 hours. As with all ElectriFly models, a complete package of high-quality hardware is included.

The AeroCell™ surface comes already finished in high-visibility colors. Decals and removable magnetic wingtip missiles are included. When you can't be out performing rocketing climbs and high-speed passes, admire your F-20 on its included display stand!

The F-20's aileron and elevator control surfaces have been hinged at the factory to reduce final assembly time.

The detailed, magnetically secured canopy hatch removes easily for access to the F-20's battery compartment.

The HyperFlow ducted fan and Ammo brushless motor combination produces impressive thrust and speed.

Optimized air intake and exhaust areas contribute more than exciting realism — they help draw maximum speed from the F-20's HyperFlow ducted fan system.

Only one full-size F-20 Tigershark remains of the three built and tested in the early 1980s. ElectriFly brings the experimental jet back to life with exciting sport-scale looks and blistering ducted fan performance.
