Applicable Taxes

Orders within PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND

All orders being sent to an address within PEI will be charged the 5% GST and also Provincial Sales Tax (PST). The rate for the PEI PST at time of this printing is 10%. Only the GST applies to shipping charges.

Orders to NOVA SCOTIA, NEW BRUNSWICK, and NEWFOUNDLAND

All orders being shipped to an address within Nova Scotia, New Brunswick or Newfoundland will be charged the 13% Hamonized Sales Tax. The HST applies also to the shipping charges.

CANADIAN orders outside PEI, NS, NB, and NF

All orders being shipped to an address within Canada but outside the provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island will be charged the 5% GST only. We do not collect provincial sales tax for any province except PEI. It is the responsibilty of residents of any province to submit provincial taxes to their own province. The GST also applies to shipping charges.

US Orders

No taxes are applied to orders being shipped outside of Canada. Some customs duties or taxes may be due upon delivery for importation of goods into another country. Please check with your local customs agent for more information. Great Hobbies has no way of knowing what duties/taxes will be due in your country.
