FEATURES

The Supermarine Spitfire, a British single-seat fighter aircraft was used by the Royal Air Force and other Allied countries before, during, and after World War II. It is one of the most iconic warbirds in history, renowned both for its beauty and its warfighting utility. The XFly Spitfire is a scale replica of this iconic fighter based on the famous Mk.IX variant, with a 1200mm wingspan and constructed using EPO foam and painted in two distinctive matte finish scale colours and livery. XFly captures the beautiful classic lines of the Spitfire Mk.IX with scale details including a 4-blade propeller, accurate canopy outline, pilot figure, exhaust stacks, cannons and
outward retractable landing gear.

The large battery hatch can accommodate a 4S 2600-4000mAh LiPo battery for a wider range of flight times. The combination of a 3541-KV745 motor and a 40A brushless ESC offers plenty of power and achieves excellent thrust-to-weight ratio for a satisfying scale performance. Metal main landing gear with shock absorbing struts and efficient electric retracts deliver outstanding ground handling performance. The flap design on this model uses four panel split flaps for easier take-offs and landings, akin to its full-size counterpart. Day-bright LED wingtip lights aid in visibility and add realism.

Choose between the desert brown edition that featured in combat in North Africa and the Mediterranean circa 1943 or the green D-Day Invasion of Europe from 1944, piloted by Canadian Ace Johnnie Johnson. Whatever you choose, this iconic stunner is ready to impress at your flying field!
