FEATURES

The Robinhood is a fun-scale version of the Curtiss Robin built back in the 1920's. Originally marketed through World Engines, this model retains all the good, clean looks of the original and retains all the great flying characteristics that make a good sport airplane.

In the air, the Robinhood 25 is a true barnstormer. Don't mistake this for a 3-D hovering machine, and resist the urge to overpower it. The Robinhood 25 is at its best when cruising on a lazy afternoon or performing some gentle aerobatics. Also, there are no problems with mown-grass runway takeoffs and landings.

If you want to go truly "old school," it can be built for simple 3-channel control (rudder, elevator, and throttle). For even more control, the included ailerons can be made fully functional (4-channel control).

The Robinhood can be powered with either an electric or glow powerplant. We've designed the fuselage with a built-in hatch, so you have quick access to either your batteries or fuel tank.

The wing is removable via two bolts from the top of the fuselage. Struts were a necessity on the full-scale Curtiss Robin but are optional for the Robinhood 25. Instructions are included on how to implement them if you'd like to give your Robinhood 25 a touch of Old-School elegance.

Needed To Complete:

• Propeller
• Engine/Motor mount & mounting hardware
• “Y” servo harness (for ailerons)
• Pushrods (two 5” for ailerons, two 24” for elevator & rudder, one 12” for throttle if glow powered)
• Clevises for the pushrods (8 if electric, 10 if glow).
• 2 - 3” diameter wheels
• 1 - tailwheel assembly
• Covering - typically 2 rolls

Specifications:

Radio:
• 3 or 4 channel system
• 4 40-70 in./oz. servos (Standard servos - similar to HS-311)
• 1 additional servo for throttle, if using a glow engine

Power:
• Electric (.25 equivalent brushless motor, 60 amp ESC, 3S LiPo)
• Glow (.20-.25 engine, 4-6 ounce tank, fuel tubing)
