The AK-12, developed in Russia in the 2010s, is a modernized assault rifle based on the iconic AK-47.

Featuring improved ergonomics and modularity, it's chambered for 7.62x39mm or 5.45x39mm. Adopted by the Russian military in 2018, it continues the Kalashnikov legacy with variants like the AK-15 and AK-19.

The AK-12 combines traditional reliability with contemporary design for military and civilian use.
