FEATURES

The Estes Cherokee-E™ brings back one of the most iconic rockets in model rocketry history, updated with modern engineering for today’s flyers. Its long, streamlined body and bold design make it stand out on the launch pad, while its performance in the air guarantees an unforgettable flight experience.

Powerful Flights up to 1,600 Feet

Get ready to watch your rocket soar skyward! When powered with Estes D12 or E12 engines, the Cherokee-E™ reaches staggering altitudes of up to 1,600 feet (488 m). With its reliable 18-inch parachute recovery system, you’ll enjoy spectacular launches again and again.

Skill-Building Rocket Kit

This kit is designed to give you the full building experience, from cutting and sanding to assembling and finishing. Featuring precision laser-cut balsa fins, the Cherokee-E™ challenges you to refine your craftsmanship while rewarding you with a strong, high-flying model that’s built to last.

Fun for Beginners and Experienced Flyers

Whether you’re new to Estes kits or a longtime hobbyist, the Cherokee-E™ is designed to engage and excite. Beginners will enjoy the approachable build process, while advanced modelers will appreciate the rocket’s sleek aesthetic and powerful flights on larger engines.

What You’ll Need

Building the Cherokee-E™ requires only common hobby tools and finishing supplies (sold separately). You’ll need scissors, a pencil, ruler, fine sandpaper, yellow glue, hobby knife, masking tape, clear tape, primer, paint, and a sanding block. For launch, you’ll also need a Porta-Pad II launch system, recovery wadding, and your choice of the recommended engines: D12-5, D12-7, or E12-6 (E engines require the E Launch Controller).
