Mike Midkiff design. The Stearman "Kaydet" PT-17 is one of the most recognizable WWII trainers ever built. Designed as an R/C or rubber powered model for competition flying, or as a competition exhibition. As are all Dare design kits, the Stearman features laser cut parts.

The Stearman "Kaydet" PT-17 designed originally as the Model 70, by Lloyd Stearman, the design was adopted by Boeing after it bought the Stearman Company. The Kaydet trained many WWII pilots in the early days, and soldiered on after WWII as a popular recreational and agricultural aircraft. Along with its primary training roll, the Kaydet also primered many USN and RCAF pilots.

Laser cut parts, contest quality balsa sheet and sticks, covering tissue, pre-bent landing gear, aluminum tube, cabane wire parts, scale vacuum-formed radial engine kit, full size scale plans and beautiful full color decals.
