FEATURES
This type of boat can be seen in many of the harbours along the French coast of the English Channel. The boats are stern trawlers where the nets are hauled in by a winch in the stern. The hull is made of steel with a length of only 11m.
The boats are fitted with modern navigation equipment for they fish the English Channel - notorious as one of the most dangerous stretches of water in the world. The crew consists of 4 to 5 men who aim to bring in the catch as quickly as possible. The boats are not designed for long voyages.
The BOULOGNE ETAPLES is a 1:20 scale model of wood construction, is suitable for radio control. The kit comes with all required fittings.
