The Pietenpol Sky Scout, a delightful golden-era home built, was designed by Bernard H. Pietenpol in the late 1920’s and was a spin off from the more familiar Air Camper. Stevens AeroModel derived this scale park flyer directly from the original 1933 Flying Manual with the intent of producing a comprehensive and highly pre-fabricated quick build laser cut kit. The Stevens AeroModel construction method along with highly engineered laser cut parts allow even beginner to novice modelers to achieve above average results.
With a 48 in. span and flying weight of only 24 oz., the Stevens AeroModel Sky Scout makes for a solid performer at the local park and, with the optional quick-change laser cut float package, you may find yourself spending more time down at the local watering hole than on the flight line at your club field!
