There are several advantages of using RPM's nylon parts over aluminum. Nylon parts are flexible, they won't bend. It's cost effective and weight a considerable amount less than aluminum.
Please note, these skid plates are designed to protect the stock skids, and reinforce the chassis braces. RPM has not test these plates for use with aluminum parts. Thread size is 4-40.
