The Reactor has excelled under glow and electric power, as a mono-plane and a biplane. Now it really hits the “big time” -- expanding to IMAA-legal dimensions with performance that’s better than ever. At low speeds, the giant-scale Reactor flies solid and true. But for an all-out 3D machine, install a 50 cc gasoline engine and increase the throws!
Assembling the factory-built components takes as little as 15-20 hours -- no time at all for a plane of this size.
Helping to make assembly quick and hassle-free, the radio compartment offers a large amount of room for easy installation of your receiver and other on-board components. To remove the hatch cover, just remove four screws.
The giant-scale Reactor excels at traditional sport flying as well as demanding, contest-worthy aerobatics. The ailerons are oversized for aggressive maneuvering, and each has two servos for powerful control muscle.
Large tail control surfaces increase the ability to fly demanding 3D aerobatics. Each of the elevator halves has its own servo, with short, direct control linkages for dependability.
Stable enough to be a good first large-scale plane, the Performance Series Reactor also excels at precision aerobatics -- and with a 50 cc gasoline engine can easily accomplish any 3D maneuver in the book. Its two-piece, bolt-on wing allows easy transport to your favorite flying site.
An ideal glow engine match for traditional sport performance is the O.S. 1.60 FX 2-stroke. It helps maximize the model's potential by keeping weight low while supplying excellent power.
A 50 cc gasoline engine gives the muscle to perform extreme 3D -- offering the maneuverability you enjoy from smaller sport planes despite the giant-scale size.
