Experience the thrill of flight with Solo Beginner Model Rocket - the easy-to-build rocket with a unique twist! This beginner level rocket features a breakaway pod that glides to the ground, dancing through the sky during recovery, while the main body of the rocket comes down under parachute to touch down safely. Standing over 2 ft. tall and utilizing a 15 in. parachute, the Solo can fly up to 500 ft. before breaking apart and returning to the ground.
To build the Solo, you'll need scissors, pencil, ruler, yellow glue, plastic cement, hobby knife, clear tape and masking tape.
To launch, you'll need Estes Porta-Pad II Launch Pad and Electron Beam Launch Controller, Estes model rocket engines, starters, and recovery wadding, as well as four 1.5V high quality AA alkaline batteries for the launch controller.
