The 1:5.5 scale Gee Bee, Model D Sportster has a 55" wing span and is set up for a 4-channel R/C.
The construction is primarily of Balsa and Lite Ply, incorpationg typical Old School Stick Tissue style construction. The one-piece wing is removable for easy transport by removing the upper rigging, the 4 struts and 2 bolts on the bottom of the fuselage.
