FEATURES
The NORSKE LOVE, initially named after the Norweigian-Danish coat-of-arms, was the second ship in a series of three, including the Printz Frideric and the Dronning Caroline Mathilde. The vessel was renamed the Oresund in 1772. The NORSKE LOVE had a 667 man crew and was equipped with 70 iron cannons: 26 twenty-four pounders on the lower deck, 26 eighteen pounders on the middle deck, and 18 eight pounders on the upper deck.
The vessel was used as a guard ship in the Sound and other waters near Denmark, and in 1789 was equipped to protect Russian ships sailing in Danish waters. She was totally renovated in 1779. After the Great fire in Copenhagen in 1795, the NORSKE LOVE was stripped and used to shelter homeless families. She was deleted from the Navy's register in 1798.
The NORSKE LOVE is a 1:75 scale model of wood construction and comes with all fittings.
