The UMX Timber X also comes equipped with LED landing, navigation, and strobe lights, and provides real-time battery voltage and other telemetry data to compatible Spektrum AirWare equipped transmitters. Because of its ultra-micro size, the UMX Timber X can be flown outdoors in many yards, parks, and sports fields, or even indoors in gymnasiums and other suitable spaces. Install the optional UMX floats (EFLUA1190, sold separately) and you can also fly from pools, ponds, and lakes. It's a great choice for a wide range of intermediate to experienced pilots, and offers a "mild to wild" flying experience that no other model can touch!

The full-span ailerons can also be used as flaperons for improved slow flight and STOL performance. Spektrum AS3X and optional-use SAFE Select technologies are included for easier flying, and the control unit/flight controller provides real-time flight battery voltage telemetry and other data to compatible Spektrum AirWare equipped transmitters. Oversized, tundra-style wheels soak up bumps and offer excellent prop clearance. Fly from grass, gravel paths, dirt trails, paved, and other surfaces, outdoors in yards, parks, sports fields and beyond, or indoors in suitable spaces including gymnasiums.
