This is a model is a great and powerful tribute to another true American hero, flown by Lt. (j. g.) George Bush in WW-II. As a TBM Avenger pilot he flew 58 combat missions off the decks of the USS San Jacinto and made 126 dangerous landings. He received the distinguished Flying Cross for bravery and gallantry in the Marinas action and collected 3 air medals during his tour of duty.
