After many months of testing, Dare has successfully flown the 1903 Wright Flyer. Development of the Wright Flyer was done to produce a "flying model" of the airplane that proved powered flight was possible.
At Dare, the goal is to produce a good flying scale model even at the expense of a true scale outline. The 1903 Wright Flyer is no exception. Through extensive testing, they have achieved the optimum balance of scale outline and a truly flyable model of the world's first powered aircraft.
For completion of the Dare 1903 Wright Flyer, you will need: A three channel aircraft radio system with two micro servo, full range receiver, 5A BEC ESC, two Potenski Pr-02A or equivalent motors with two Sig SP-003 7" Propellers. Adhesives, building tools and supplies are not included.
