Great Hobbies will be awarding $25,000 in total prizes through the remainder of 2009. There will be $2500 worth of prizes awarded in each of the nine months of April through December 2009. These prizes will consist of one prize worth $1000 and six prizes worth $250 each. There will be one grand prize worth $2500 awarded at the end of 2009. All prizes will consist of the winning amount as store credit towards a shopping spree to purchase product of the winner's choice.

And if you shop with Great Hobbies, there is nothing else you have to do to enter. We’ll add up your total purchases for any given prize period and will award you with one automatic entry for every $25 dollars or portion thereof you spend with us on product.

Official Rules

• Contest consists of nine monthly contest periods and one grand prize period. The monthly contest periods shall commence at 12:00 a.m. (AST/ADT) on the first day of each month for the months of April through December, 2009, and close at 11:59 p.m. on the last day of each such month. The grand prize contest period shall commence at 12:00 a.m. (AST/ADT) on the first of April, 2009, and close at 11:59 p.m. on the thirty-first of December, 2009.

• Great Hobbies Inc. will award one (1) prize of one thousand dollars ($1,000) in store credit, along with six (6) prizes of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250) in store credit, for a total of seven (7) prizes with total value of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) in store credit in each monthly contest period.
• Great Hobbies Inc. will award one (1) prize of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) in store credit for the grand prize period.
• Monthly contest prizes will be randomly selected by the fifth day of the month from all eligible entries received in the previous monthly contest period.
• The grand prize will be randomly selected by January 5th, 2010, from all eligible entries received during the grand prize contest period
• The odds of winning any prize are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received in any contest period.
• All prizes are for store credit only and are not convertible to cash. Prize credit may be used towards the cost of goods, taxes or shipping charges for any purchase.

• The contest is only open to residents of Canada, other than residents of Quebec. Due to the strict regulations governing contests in that province, we are unable to include our Quebec friends in this contest.
• Suppliers or Employees of Great Hobbies and their immediate families are not eligible to enter the contest
• All winners will have to correctly answer, unaided, an arithmetical skill testing question
• All winners must agree to have their name and location used in Great Hobbies promotional material as having been a winner. The names of all winners will be posted on the Great Hobbies web site.
• To be declared an official winner and be awarded a prize you will have to declare that you have abided by the contest rules as stated here
• If a prize is won by a minor, it will be awarded only in the name of the minor’s parent or legal guardian on behalf of the minor.

• Entries will be made automatically for all those eligible who purchase product from Great Hobbies.
• At the end of each monthly prize period, purchase totals (goods only, not taxes or shipping charges) will be totaled for each eligible customer for all invoiced product for that month. One entry will automatically be made for the monthly draw for each $25 or portion thereof purchased. For instance, if a customer purchases $813 worth of goods in a given month they will automatically get 33 entries (813/25 = 32.52, rounded up). If a customer only purchases $17 in product during the contest period, he would be eligible for one automatic entry (17/25 = 0.68, rounded up).
• At the end of the grand prize period (December 31, 2009), purchase totals (goods only, not taxes or shipping charges) will be added up for each eligible customer for all invoiced product from April 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009. One entry will automatically be made for each $25 or portion thereof purchased. For instance, if a customer purchases $1507 worth of goods throughout the grand prize period, they will automatically get 61 entries (1507/25 = 60.28, rounded up).
• Automatic entries are created upon invoicing of the product only, not simply when ordered. Do not leave orders to the last minute if you wish them to count in a specific contest period.
• No purchase will be necessary to enter. To enter without purchasing, a person must submit their name, address, and phone number as well as Great Hobbies customer number and e-mail address if applicable, to us by mail, one entry per envelope, postmarked and mailed individually. All entries must be received by December 31, 2009. All submitted entries will be eligible for the prizes awarded for the month the entry is received as well as the grand prize at the end of the year. • Great Hobbies Inc. reserves the right to suspend, cancel or modify the contest at any time, if it determines that for any reason the contest cannot be run as originally planned or any other occurrence compromising the fairness or integrity of the contest.
• Any product that is purchased during the contest period that would have contributed an entry for any prize winner will be eligible for return for in-store credit only and not for refund.
• For any product that is purchased cash on delivery (COD) during the contest period that would have contributed an entry for any prize winner, full payment for the product will have to have been received before the prize can be awarded.
• The contest is invalid where prohibited by law.
