The DEX410's unique drivetrain is designed for speed. The centre driveshafts are positioned above the batteries, keeping the weight centred and low in the narrow aluminium chassis. This means that the centre of gravity (COG) is as low as possible, aiding both stability and control on the track and in the air!
The power from your motor is fed directly into the centre mounted, quick release spur gear and adjustable slipper clutch assembly, down the precision milled centre driveshafts, into fully enclosed, metal gear differentials, and on to the wheels via ballraced, rubber-booted steel CVD driveshafts. All of this ensures perfect power delivery from even the hottest motors and batteries, and eliminates transmission slip, apart from what you choose to dial in on the adjustable slipper clutch. With like-for-like horsepower, the DEX410 accelerates quicker than its rivals, out-of-the box
The DEX410 comes with race-developed alloy parts as standard, including an aluminium chassis (precision milled from 6061 T6 aluminium) which like the geared differentials, is unique in today's 1/10 4WD electric off-road racing buggies.
The front uprights, steering linkage, servo mount, suspension pivots, motor/spur gear mounts and rear differential mounts are provided in the same high-quality, high-strength aluminium, reducing component failures and keeping you in the race!
Designed and included at the request of professional racers, the titanium turnbuckles are not only lighter than cheaper steel alternatives, their increased material strength means they won't bend like steel or round-off during adjustment.
Included as standard with the DEX410, the ultra-thick 4mm milled carbon-fibre shock towers provide rigid and durable mounts for the Team Durango hard anodised threaded shock absorbers and springs.
The suspension on the DEX410 is fully adjustable: camber, toe, alignment, ride height and anti-roll bar preload can all be tuned to suit your driving style and the track.
In addition to these adjustments, included in the kit as standard are multiple machined aluminium suspension pivots in varying drops and multiple anti-roll bars to give you as many options as possible to fine-tune your race winning DEX410.
