Devastating the jungle
The landscape speeds by below, thousands of acres of jungle, river, rice paddies, huge hills, small villages, and, somewhere ahead, the objective. The job is clear. Support the landing zone with rockets, gatling gun fire, and 40mm grenades. What's not clear is how the gunner is supposed to see anything to hit with all the cover everywhere. Tracer fire arcs up from beneath the canopy. Here we go again.
