In order to maximize the cargo and passenger capacity of their aircraft, Boeing extended the fuselage of their 747. The stretched 747-8 is 250 feet (76.4 m) long, making it the longest passenger aircraft in the world. Despite its gargantuan proportions, this new design is more fuel-efficient and has a longer range than earlier 747 variants. Lufthansa can transport 467 passengers over 9,000 miles (14,500 km) in one of these planes. This kit is faithful to every detail of the Boeing passenger liner.
