Loud and proud

The only three-engine aircraft in the Boeing inventory, the 727 was developed in the sixties to satisfy requirements for a more efficient small aircraft that had the reliability to conduct over-ocean hauls. With nearly two thousand produced, the 727 can be found in airline inventories all over the world to this day. In America, its use has slowly shrunk because of federal noise restrictions. Low bypass jet engines make the 727 one of the noisiest commercial jet airliners available today. Kit features lowered undercarriage, twin engines, display stand, and Germania decals.
