Here's an easy-to-tame tiger that's playful as a kitten. That is why so many modelers have chosen the Tiger 2 for their first low-wing model. Plus it's a terrific everyday sport plane for RCers who aren't't looking for a challenge every time they head for the flying field. Now the Tiger 2 is available as an Almost-Ready-to-Fly aircraft.
With its light loading, slow landing speed, and tricycle gear, the Tiger 2 is hard to top as a low wing trainer. Yet those same features—along with long tail moment, shallodihedralal, and clean, symmetrical airfoil—make for super-smooth aerobatic performance in the hands of experienced fliers. Loops and rolls are clean and precise and inverted flight couldn't be easier or more stable. Plus, you'll get that sparkling performance with an economical .40 to .46 2-cycle. Anything more is just to much.
The Tiger 2 is 90% pre-built and features top quality hardware. All major components are of the finest balsa and light ply, covered in UltraCote. The elevator is pre-assembled, pushrod guide tubes are installed and included is a blaccockpitpt insert. Even wing guide tubes are included for quick, easy installation of aileron servo wires. The fully-illustrated, step-by-step instruction booklet will have you out at the field in record time.
And when you've outgrown the tri-gear, the Tiger 2 ARF easily converts to tail-dragger. Gear blocks are pre-mounted for the tail-dragger main gear configuration.
Required is a 4-channel radio with 5 servos, a .40 to .46 2-cycle or .48 4-cycle engine, fuel, and engine starting equipment.
