The Lazy Bee is a small field R/C airplane with exceptional low speed performance. Typical wingloading is around 6 oz/sq ft. The stall speed is very low and the control surfaces are oversized. The Lazy Bee loops and rolls easily at speeds where most planes fall out of the sky! The Lazy Bee features sprung landing gear, excellent wheel or float flying, and short take-offs. The kits are available in a variety of sizes and wing configurations. Also available are Trexler wheel sets and float kits for the models.
The standard Lazy Bee is available with either a 40" or 48" wing as well as in a dual kit with both wings (interchangeable). Requires a .049 to .15 2-C, .20 to .26 4-C or .035 to .075 Electric. Micro Radio recommended for electric or smaller engine. Wingspan: 40"/48"; Wing Area: 526/638 sq in; Weight: 15-30 oz/16-45oz.
